Emperor Zol is the 75th generation ruler of the over 6000 year old Melachant Empire and strongly continues the empire's proud tradition of all out defensive capabilities. He was born into the royal family and raised as the eldest son. Little is known about the sibling that he had and little is known about them aside from the fact that they were lost at some point in time. Regardless of the sibling, he was first born and therefore destined for the throne. For thousands of years the empire of Melachant has been focused on aggressive defence tactics. Emperor Zol continued these tactics and implements fear as a method of control. However, when there is minimal resistance within Melachant the people figured out that they benefit greatly. As a result, tensions have also remained relatively minimal and citizen standing with the royal family has been more favourable than not. At a point, Emperor Zol came across a young and very dedicated valkyrie named Kii. It is unclear what background she came from, but through sparring and social interactions, Emperor Zol took a significant liking to her and decided that she was a suitable person to marry. The two of them eventually had two children at different times. The first of the children was Nillor, a boy. The second of the children was Liliac, a girl. Emperor Zol and Kii participated in raising them until the Kraken claimed Kii's life out at sea. Emperor Zol took this as a lesson in terms of dealing with the Danger Zone, where the Kraken is said to take residence.
He generally likes Nillor's attitude, being similarly as unforgiving as he is. Zol is not fond of Liliac's attitude, but cannot complain much about it, as Kii was also about strengthening relations through the formation of friendships. Liliac also started developing agriculture, which Zol initially disapproved of. However, the potential for a new trade specialty and a lower price for something that is entirely imported is catching his interest. Emperor Zol is not aggressive towards his children, but can be stern with them.
